Where the Craft Things Are Vendor Terms and Conditions FAQ

This is a juried show only for artists and crafters creating handmade, original work.  All mediums are welcome. 

Location: German American Society, 3717 S 120 Street, Omaha NE 68144.  The event is inside the North Hall.   

Date and Time:  Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Booth Space:  A booth space measures 4' by 8'.  

Show fees:   4" x 8" booth is $40

Electricity: There will be electrical outlets available on a first come first serve basis. Let us know ASAP if you need electricity. 

Jurying:  In order to ensure handcrafted quality work, artists are asked to submit the location of their website (s) where their work can be seen for selection by the jury. 

Where the Wild Things Are Salle is looking for new and innovative handmade work that brings a new level to the traditional craft show.  The Omaha Craft Mafia has a right to reject applications that are too commercial or not appropriate for the show’s customer base.  No nudity or adult themes allowed.

Application deadline:  Saturday, April 1, 2017 at midnight CST

Acceptance: Notifications will be sent no later than Saturday, April 8, 2017. Booth fees will be due by midnight CST on April 15, 2017. Failure to pay complete booth fees by the booth fee deadline results in loss of space at the event.  There will be a waiting list.

Cancellations: Contact the OCM as soon as possible.  There will be no refunds for this event after April 29, 2017. 

Set up time: Saturday, May 13 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Sales Tax:  The day of the show you will be responsible for collecting sales tax from your customers. Visit http://www.netax.state.ne.us/ for more information on sales tax.

Responsibility:  Artist will be responsible for her/his own liability and action resulting from the operation of her/his exhibit. 

The artist or a representative must be present during the show.

No smoking in the German American Society Building. 

Food and alcohol will be available for purchase at the event.
